Almost time to come home from my tour in Japan, but here are some more pics:

LOOK! Its the Avatar - The Last Air Bender - Yeah I'm probably going to hell for this...

The View in Nikko

Lunch time in Nikko!

"Twilight gate" where offerings of sake were once left to the deities. Now locals now donate money and foreigners leave Whiskey Barrels.

Toshogu Shrine - Shinto shrine - He was the founder of the 3rd to last shogonal government in japanese history.

Rinnoji Temple - founded by Shodo Shonin, the Buddhist monk who introduced Buddhism to Nikko in the 8th century.

Inside joke dedicated to DJ Homicide :)

Too much snow. Time to go home to Vegas.

Constructed as the mausoleum of Ieyasu Tokugawa in 1617, this shrine was later rebuilt into the present impressive shrine.

This is the famous "hear no evil, speak no evil, say no evil" carving.

5 story pagoda (Nikko). Tadakatsu Sakai contributed the bldg in 1650. It burned down in 1815 then descendant of Tadakatsu rebuilt it 1818.

The bottom of the pillar is not attached to the ground, but is floated about 10cm. This is an anti-earthquake construction.

Tour Break at Lake Chuzenji! Normallly you can see Mt. Fuji! NOT TODAY KIDS!!!
